I'm almost too giddy to type. It's the final instalment of my Festive 50 for this year with numbers 10 all the way down to the prestigious number 1 spot:
Impressive work on these festive 50 posts! You sound like a proper DJ! :) I'm curious, which Arctic Monkeys song do you refer to at 11.55 ?
True, there isn’t a groundbreaking story in Gravity, even so, it made me feel like I really was in space. Steven Price's score, visuals effects, and performances are all stellar.
Thanks for that. It was probably easier doing it this way rather than typing it all out like last year's. The Arctic Monkeys song was I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor.
I quite enjoyed Gravity, especially the first quarter of an hour or so. It feels a bit like the strong sci-fi female leads in Aliens and Terminator 2 haven't been built on at all in this film and Prometheus. I can't imagine Ellen Ripley wingeing about feeling a bit sick.
